Lavender Honey is among the most prized varietals of honey. This premium international honey has a faint, floral aroma, and a subtle fruity finish, that is more delicate than other monofloral varietals. Its light color and gentle flavor notes make it particularly complementary in mild tea and as a sugar substitute in baking. When referring to lavender honey, people use words like: premium, exquisite, fantastic, luxurious and delicate, the most elegant of all honeys.

It is not a common honey. The Lavender honey of Sardinia has a unique taste, different from usual Lavender, because it grows in arid and wild areas but very close to the sea. Taste it, it will become one of your favorite honey. Unfortunately the production is not constant: being a wild flower it depends on the weather and rain, which are quite rare in Sardinia.
